Klemen Simonic works at Facebook on artificial intelligence and applied machine learning. His work focuses on natural language understanding and audio / speech problems. Klemen also works on CommAI project to develop machines capable of communication with humans through language.
Klemen received his M.S. at the University of Utah, where he worked on learning text representations and search query understanding. During his undergraduate and M.S., he did two internships at Stanford and one internship at Google, where he worked on community detection and missing link prediction in large social and information network, and learning text representations and short text understanding.
In the winter, Klemen loves to ski and make as many short turns as possible. He also enjoys running, cycling, and swimming.
